Dave Durham has performed throughout
the United States and Caribbean.  He is
known for his commercial acting and
improv comedy. His areas of specialty
include songwriter, entertainer, EMCEE,
musician, voiceover actor, sculptor and
artist.  Dave has earned degrees in Music
and Literature, is a proud BMI publisher and
writer, penning many songs covered by
other nationally known acts. He has
written with Songwriter Hall of Famer,
Hank Cochran; Elvis Presley writer, Ben
Weisman; Dukes of Hazzard star Tom
Wopat; and big screen actor, Matthew
Modine.  Dave has been honored by the
California Country Music Association as best
writer of the year for 1986, 87 and 88.  His
band was nominated for the Best
Non-Touring Band 3 years in a row by the
Academy of Country Music. He has recorded
for Sony Records and has for over 20 years
provided the voices for Disney's Country
Bear Jamboree.  Some of the venues that
Dave has appeared in include The Grand
Ole Opry, Los Angeles Forum, Dodger
Stadium (singing the National Anthem) and
the Walt Disney World Resort.  He has
made appearances on many television
shows including Ralph Emery, TNN, Crook
and Chase, along with many national
commercials. He has "opened" shows for
such notables as Merle Haggard, George
Jones, Alabama, Willy Nelson, The Judds
and Randy Travis.
